Recruiting is the classical way of finding a job and as an employer you should be aware that this type of advertising a vacancy will attract most candidates. Draw up a job description carefully and place the job advert (also: ad) in all business related media and further. Once you receive all the CVs (curriculum vitae, also: résumés) with enclosing covering letters, shortlist the candidates and conduct preliminary interviews which will disclose the best candidates. The next step is to invite the best candidates to an in-depth interview along with aptitude tests to assess their mental ability and reasoning skills. When you finally appoint the most successful applicant for the post, it is time for a new adventure – employee training. If you feel that the classical way of recruiting is more of a ‘lottery’, maybe you should opt for headhunting. A head-hunter is actually a professional or executive recruiter. They receive a request, usually from a client company which specifies the job requirements. At that point, they will either search their database of candidates and/or they will recruit or headhunt at other companies. It is usually the client company that pays the head-hunter so if you are planning to use their services, it is very important to check their track record and other client companies.
When blogging your vacancies, you are entering the world of mass media. As soon as you set up a free account on a blog service, you will notice the dramatic reduction in advertising costs. However, successful blog advertising has its rules, and here are the most important ones: train your bloggers, link up with related blogs to increase the number of hits, do not neglect classic advertising, be simple and original, control site activity.
Job aggregator sites are specialized search engines such as Indeed.com and SimplyHired.com. Jobs are all they have in their database and they offer links to employers’ web sites. However, job aggregators are yet to come to the Croatian market. If you type in a job search of e.g. ‘a teacher in Croatia’, you will most likely get the following reply: ‘Hmm. We’ve never been there before. What’s the weather like?’ Finally, we must not forget to mention the word-of-mouth. If none of the previously mentioned methods seem to ensure you just the right candidate for the opening, maybe you should spread the word in your surroundings. Connections in the business world have always been the key to success, and your future employee might just be lurking in your neighbourhood.
Općine, gradovi i županije dijelom se financiraju iz poreznih prihoda, koji su zajednički prihod središnje države i lokalnih jedinica, a dijelom iz vlastitih prihoda. Unutar vlastitih prihoda lokalnih jedinica važno mjesto pripada lokalnim porezima. Koje poreze mogu uvesti županije, a koje gradovi i općine, propisano je Zakonom o financiranju jedinica lokalne i područne (regionalne) samouprave. Županije mogu na svom području uvesti obvezu plaćanja poreza na nasljeđstvo i darove, poreza na cestovna motorna vozila, poreza na plovila i poreza na automate za zabavne igre. Općine i gradovi mogu propisati obvezu plaćanja prireza poreza na dohodak, poreza na potrošnju, poreza na kuće za odmor, poreza na korištenje javnim površinama i poreza na tvrtku.
Tvrtka je ime. Dakle, porez na tvrtku je općinski odnosno gradski porez. Kao što mu sam naziv govori, porezom na tvrtku oporezuje se tvrtka ili naziv poslovnog subjekta. Obveznik plaćanja poreza na tvrtku svaka je pravna ili fizička osoba koja je obveznik poreza na dobit ili poreza na dohodak, ako je prema posebnom zakonu u poslovanju obvezna koristiti se tvrtkom. Tvrtka je ime, naziv pod kojim pravna ili fizička osoba djeluje, i ulazi u pravne i poslovne odnose.
